Apple Releases iOS 6.0.1 Update
Apple Releases iOS 6.0.1 Update

Apple has released an update for their iOS 6.0. The newly released update for iOS 6.0 is said to address the glitches and make iPhone 5 able to get wireless software updates.

Either the iOS 6.0.1 update can be availed wirelessly or you could do it through iTunes. In order to do it wirelessly, the iPhone 5 users will have to go to their Settings Menu and click “Software Update,” which will ask you to download an updater. This will allow the wireless updates to be installed.

iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users who are already using iOS 6 can get the update by going to Settings, then General, then “Software Update.”

The all-new iOS 6.0.1 update addressed the following glitches:

·        Addresses a bug that stops iPhone 5 from downloading and installing software updates over the air

  • Addresses the bug which causes horizontal lines to appear across the keyboard
  • Addresses a glitch that might cause the camera flash to not work properly
  • Betters the reliability of iPod touch (5th gen) and iPhone 5, when it is connected to the encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks
  • It also addresses a glitch which stops iPhones from using the cellular networks in certain cases
  • Merges the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match
  • Addresses a Passcode Lock glitch, which at times allows access to Passbook pass details from its lock screen
  • It also addresses a bug that affects the Exchange meetings

The update automatically begins once you have confirmed the user agreement at the time of downloading and installing. The animated gears that turned up during downloads were especially nice.

So, if you are facing some glitches in your Apple iPhone 5, then its time you get the latest iOS 6.0.1 update for you.
