Facebook Brings Their App Centre

Facebook recently announced that they would be launching their "App Center" soon. Facebook’s App Center will allow their, more than 900 million users to get all the necessary apps at one place. The Facebook App Center will have many apps including Pinterest, Draw Something, Battle Pirates, Spotify, Bubble Witch Saga, and Viddy. Each of the app will have a dedicated app page, which will provide all the details about it and will let the user install it before accessing an app. The idea behind the establishment of app center is to promote the best social apps through a tailored discovery page. The app store will have both, free and paid apps for the users. Considering the huge 900 million user base of Facebook, we don’t see any shortage of developers turning to create apps for Facebook. Whether the app will be listed or not would be depend on several benchmarks governing user ratings, design, and engagement. There will also be an App rating metric system in place to give the developers an idea of how their app fairs over time. As for now, Facebook has over 200 apps integrated with them, and each app sees over 1 million active users.
