Facebook Camera App For iOS: This Is Why Spending $1 Billion on Instagram Was Worth

Facebook might not have recovered from the shaky IPO (Initial Public Offering) completely, but that did not stop the World’s Biggest Social Networking website from moving ahead. In a major announcement, Facebook revealed their Camera App for iOS devices. The Facebook Camera App can be downloaded from Apple's App Store. The best thing here is that it functions pretty much like any other camera app we’ve seen for the modern Smartphones. In order to capture the image you will have to tap the camera icon appearing on the top left corner of the screen, aim at the subject, and shoot. In addition, the app allows you to crop; tilt or ad filters to your photos and allows you to share them over Facebook. It should be known that the Facebook Camera App was under development stage even before they bought Instagram at a whooping $1 billion dollars around six weeks ago. It also indicates how Facebook was planning to vie against the little mobile-first startup. The newly unveiled Facebook Camera App for iOS is pretty much like Instagram. Facebook didn’t give any details on when they will be releasing their app for Google's Android OS. Now, that Facebook has launched their Photo App, we think Instagram will soon be stopped.
