Microsoft Launches New Mouse and Keyboard For Windows 8
Microsoft Launches New Mouse and Keyboard For Windows 8

Microsoft’s Windows 8 still is far away from the launch, but the software giant is laying the pavement to launch their latest Operating System. The latest attempt in that direction is the launch of new Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard for laptops and tablets running Windows 8. The more interesting of the two is the “Wedge Touch Mouse,” which pretty much likes its name, has a design like a “wedge” of cheese. The mouse is small, which although makes it suitable for the mobile devices, but makes it uncomfortable to grip. The mouse does not have a scroll wheel; instead, the top surface of the mouse has been made touch-sensitive and given support for both vertical and horizontal scrolling. Microsoft has incorporated BlueTrack technology in “Wedge Touch Mouse,” which means the device can be used on different surfaces, for example granite and carpet. However, all that comes with a price, and if you intend to get this latest product from Microsoft you will have to shed US$ 69.95. The newly announced keyboard also is Wedge-branded and comes with a rubber cover, which along with protecting the keyboard, could be used as an adjustable tablet stand. The rear end of the keyboard houses a rubber-coated wedge, which keeps it fixed at its position and at the same time tilts slightly to give it a better ergonomics. The Wedge Mobile Keyboard will cost you US$79.95. In terms of design the mouse and keyboard looks pleasing and appealing, what do you think of them?
