Nintendo's Wii U Priced AT $299 To Enter U.S Market On November 18

Nintendo Co. is determined to fend off the smartphone and tablet makers in the gaming console market. As their first step, the company will be launching their $300 priced Nintendo Wii U in the U.S. market on November 18. The popular Super Mario maker intends to regain lead from its rivals Microsoft and Sony in the gaming world.

The new variant of Nintendo’s Wii U has been given an en suite DVR, which will let the user’s record and watch live television, pretty much like a set-top box. According to the executives, the new gaming console will stream video using Netflix Inc, Google Inc's YouTube, Amazon.com Inc, and Hulu video streaming services. The new console will also have touch-screen controllers, which can be attributed for its higher price.

The console will hit the Japanese market on 8th of December for around $340.Nintendo is introducing a successor to their widely popular Wii gaming console in the busy holiday shopping season in the year end and will be placing it against Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3 priced at $200 and $250, respectively.
