Nokia and Vodafone India Comes Together For Music

Cell phone makers have been seen joining hands with service providers to elevate the consumer experience. In one such incident, the Finnish mobile maker, Nokia has joined hands with Vodafone India to lift the consumer experience on their popular Nokia Music service. Under the partnership, Vodafone will be offering an en suite billing alternative on the Nokia Music store.

Its’ worth mentioning that Nokia Music Store is the biggest depository of legal digital music online in India with around 4.5 million DRM free songs listed with them, including around 16 Indian languages.

Customers using Nokia’s music service on their Nokia Asha smartphones and Nokia feature phones will now be able to renew their subscription through their account with Vodafone and will be able to download songs and albums from the Nokia Music Store.

The subscription renewal for Nokia Music store is available in three packs - Rs 50 for 7 days; Rs 99 for 30 days; and Rs 250 for 90 days.

This incorporation will also allow the Indian Vodafone customers to pay for their renewal as a part of their monthly phone bills or they could even get the amount debited straight from the pre-paid balance.

With this, the Nokia Music Store has become the first autonomous music store of the nation to provide integrated operator billing together with billing through vouchers and credit cards.
