Nokia unveils Asha 310 dual-SIM Mobile Phone

Nokia has announced the Asha 310, the first Wi-Fi enabled phone in the series to offer dual-SIM support. 

The Nokia Asha 310 boasts of a 3-inch capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels and a 2 megapixel primary camera, but sadly, there’s no front camera on the Smartphone. The Asha 310 comes with 128MB of internal storage which can be expanded using a micro-SD card. Nokia also plans to bundle 2GB and 4GB micro-SD cards.

"The powerful combination of Dual SIM plus Wi-Fi in the same device, a first for Nokia smartphones, gives consumers the best of both worlds by offering the flexibility to enjoy more mobile experiences while managing their costs”, reports said. Along with Wi-Fi, the Nokia Asha 310 also features Bluetooth 3.0 for connectivity, and according to the company the device provides up to 17 hours of talktime or 25 days of standby. 

The Asha 310 does not have a 3G radio and supports Internet connectivity through GPRS/Edge. The phone comes with preloaded email, Facebook, Twitter and eBuddy apps, in addition to Nokia Maps, which works online and offline. Nokia's also offering 40 free games from EA. The Nokia Asha 310 comes in Black, White and Golden Light colors.
