Samsung SCH-W2013 Quad Core Flip Phone from Samsung Has Dual Touchscreens

If you thought that you have seen some of the most advanced cell phones in the market or cell phones with some interesting features then you might be wrong.  There’s no denying the fact that the traditional cell phone designs have came a long way and has seen some interesting reforms.  First, we had the Zack Morris, and then came the Motorola flip models and then Nokia’s Candy bar models ruled the market.  The flip design did saw some decline in the popularity, but never went out.  But now with the touchscreen models dominating the market, cell phone manufacturers will have to do some really impressive to get the customers going for flip models again.

This is exactly what we think Samsung engineers thought while designing the Samsung SCH-W2013 – A flip phone with dual touchscreens and a standard alphanumeric keypad.    Yes, the Samsung SCH-W2013 has dual 3.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen displays.  First is on the front, while the other is on the inside.  What makes this deal more interesting is that Samsung has fitted it with a 1.4GHz quad core processor (probably Exynos 4412) to go together with its Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform.

The remaining specifications of the handset includes a 16GB storage, 2GB of RAM, 8MP camera, microSD expansion, an 1850mAh battery and 1.9MP front camera.  In addition, yes, the dual touchscreen handset has dual SIM support for GSM 900/1800/1900 and CDMA2000 800/1900.
