Samsung to launch Galaxy Star entry-level Jelly Bean Smartphone

Samsung is rumoured to unveil a new entry-level Smartphone, the Galaxy Star GT-S5282. The Galaxy Star will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is expected to launch in April.

Samsung Galaxy star will sport a 3.0-inch screen with 160x120 pixel QVGA resolution. It is expected to have a 4GB of internal storage and a MicroSD slot that supports cards up to 32GB. The smartphone will run on 4.1 Jelly Bean and will be powered by a 1200mAh battery. At the rear there will be a modest 2 megapixel camera and Memory card slot will also be provided in the smartphone to expand the storage.

Samsung has tried to satisfy the needs of all customers in the market. From budget devices like Samsung Champ and the entry-level device Samsung Star 3 all the way up to the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the Galaxy Note II for the high-end.

The reported connectivity options for Galaxy Star smartphone include Micro-USB, Wi-Fi- A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. So far, there is no word about the price and availability for this smartphone.
