Sony Xperia E Is The New Budget Edition In Sony's Xperia Line

Sony’s Xperia line has yet another entrant. This time around it’s a budget priced Sony Xperia E running Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Sony’s new launch is set to loc horns with Nokia’s recently announced Lumia 620 and that becomes rather apparent with the launch timing of Xperia E.

The Sony Xperia E boasts a 3.5-in touchscreen with native resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, and a 1GHz single-core processor. We don’t know, how the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will run on Xperia E, as it doesn’t have a brawny feature set, but Sony is rather contented with.

Speaking at the launch, Sony’s executive told that the Xperia E is a firm first step for the users planning to enter the Smartphone world and hence we would be recommending Xperia E or Xperia E dual to them.

The Sony Xperia E gets its power from a 1,500mAh battery and has plenty of advanced features like HD Voice, DLNA connectivity, and Sony's Xloud Audio technology. We still don’t have the complete specs about the phone, but we do know that it will be entering the market in first quarter of 2013 and will be available in black, pink, and white colours.
